The Charm that makes Anyone Beautiful

The Charm that makes Anyone Beautiful

On the floor of a fashion show, we all wondered in admiration as streams of sexy-looking faces floated by. My friends were dumb, for it was our first time in a fashion fare with such varieties of beauties at arm’s length. I was literary floating with those cute faces in the euphoria of confidence. Yes, I found it right then, it wasn’t their shape that got me; it wasn’t their smile for they seldom smile; it wasn’t their moves, there was something beyond the moves; it was certainly not their faces, most of them weren’t even pretty; it was their confidence.

I realize it was not the beauty in the dress but the confidence in the beauty. It wasn’t the moves that they made; it was the confidence in every turn. Many women can wear hundreds of dollars worth of jewels and would still look and feel hollow. Many women can go almost fully nude and wouldn’t still command the attention of one man. But just a little confidence can raise dust and spark flames in the hearts of men.

There was a time when the word charm used to mean magical powers and at another time it means the exuding power of morality. The Medieval period believes a man of the class is a man of charm. In Italy then they attributed charm to how you dress and where you came from (your aristocratic background). Today, the word charm is in between the two old meanings. Something stronger than magical power. Something with the ability to hypnotize a man, that’s a charm.

However, charm is a quality or feature exciting love or admiration; attractiveness. It is called the indefinable power of delight. Something with the ability to spark delight in another. Now, tell me can low esteem or self-defeat spark delight or excitement in another? Certainly not. You see, this is why you have struggled to be attractive without any consolation.

It is easy to be attractive, it is easy to be charming, just get the power of confidence. Confidence will also show on your skin. It has a way of announcing you before your arrival. The man beams a smile at you and it is your confidence that will reply not you. It is the first thing they see when they see you. It tells them if you are secure or vulnerable. When a man looks into your eyes he is looking for the charm, not whether your eyes are blue or wine-beaten.

The eyes are the gateway to your inner beauty. It is the inner beauty that is called confidence. If it is inside it will show in the eyes. That ceaseless light of confidence is the beam of attraction. They will be attracted because you make them feel delighted about everything. You can’t give what you don’t have. If you don’t feel delighted within, you can’t give it to another through your eyes.

Therefore, how do we find confidence? It is within, it is in the firm belief in self. Many don’t have confidence because of their past, others because of how they have placed their worth. No matter what it is that robbed you of your self-worth or confidence, it is basically about what others will think or what they thought and said some time ago. It doesn’t matter what they think or say, what matters is what you think or say about yourself. So work on your thoughts. Get a new perspective of yourself.

You must assure and reassure yourself of what you are and what you have got. Irrespective of what others may think, hold on to your confidence in yourself. Realize also that even others out there whom you think are out to judge you are no saints themselves. So who is judging who? You don’t have to sit back there and take all the trash from them. Get a picture of the better person that you are and stick to it.

Dwell in that confidence in the secret and in the open it will burst forth through your eyes, your words, and your moves. You must decide to seek to know yourself better. The more you know about yourself, the more your self-confidence grows. Live in purpose and let whatever you do have a reason not because someone wants you to do it. Get a niche for yourself and spice it with your own unique style. Feel yourself, talk confidence to yourself and watch your charm unleash its power of attraction.

Healing for the World

Healing for the World

If those with knowledge will only tell the world the truth, friendship will not hold for long, relationships will not work and there will be no true love if we don’t first learn love with the simple acts of service. If we don’t know this, we don’t know anything about love. It is the act of service that makes others feel loved the most. For another to step out of his way, stoop low and engage in services that would please another is the first step of sacrifice in relationships. Today people are selfish, friendship is only on an interest basis, marriage is a contract, and love is a mere exaggeration geared towards selfish pleasure. The world has lost it. You, as an individual will never find that love you are looking for if you continue in selfishness.

We must tell the people the truth, the reason why we can’t have good relationships now, or lasting marriages, is because we can’t sacrifice for another. We must tell them the truth, there is HIV/AIDS today because the world forced many into the loneliness that forced them to seek acceptance by getting involved in risky behaviours. We must tell them the truth that love and friendship is our best defense against HIV/HIADS. If we love people enough to be their friends unconditionally, they wouldn’t engage in risky behaviour that could expose them to HIV/AIDS. And that if we love people living with HIV/AIDS enough, we wouldn’t discriminate against them, which will allow them to live a normal life. Those living with HIV/AIDS are not abnormal people, they are normal people who need love and understanding to live fulfilled lives.

Tells everyone, that we need love because it is the secret to surviving here on planet earth. Love is what we breathe every day. To feel great, love someone. To feel loved, have a great friend you can love without a nursing betrayer. Take love to those whom no one loved and get to feel the natural touch love will give you; you will feel high without drugs. What you take a drug to feel is actually a shadow of what you will feel if you show kindness to another that nobody cares about. The smile and appreciation in the eyes of others when you show them love will get you high. Just love without reservations and you will naturally attract friends who will love you back, and the world will be better.

The healing we need is love and friendship. If we show enough love and discard betrayal so we can have a real friendship, and so that the world can find her healing. True love and friendship will heal our world of all kinds of diseases. It will heal that pain and emptiness in your heart. Try loving someone genuinely and see how it feels. “You don’t win somebody’s love by buying him/her a bottle of coke or a single date at Mr. Biggs.”

The strongest appetite in a man is not that of sex or food; it is, to love and be loved. Demented souls are not sick of diseases, they are sick of love and friendship. 75% of illnesses today are stress-related. Love and friendship are the natural cure for stress and loneliness. Start with yourself today, love, and be a great friend.

Introducing Sisters’ House of Esteem

Introducing Sisters’ House of Esteem

“Many things can change a woman, things that happen inside, things that happen outside, but the thing that matters most is what she thinks about herself.” — Patricia Mcgerr

There is a call, there is an echo from eternity and a command from divinity to salvage the world from wars and woes, prejudice and peril, and save the seed in the womb.

It is evident today that the society/government has failed in their attempt to rescue ‘the woman’ from decadence. Now, it is most obvious that the destiny of millions of women in Africa and the world lie in our hands. We must save the ‘woman’ from her woes.

Women empowerment has empowered nothing but ego competition. Let’s start virtue empowerment instead. Let’s stand on our toes and bind up the broken walls – promoting realities instead of sexuality. Let’s enthrone virtue and not sexuality that has reduced us to shams.

Can’t we see, that the value we seek comes not from ‘Women empowerment’ but from virtue? Without personal values (esteem) there is no virtue and without virtue, there is no public value. It starts from self-value (esteem).

God has given us the responsibility of replacing the perverse picture on the street, feeding the ‘desperate’, educating the ignorant, navigating a virtuous path for the lost, expression for the deprived/depressed and a heartstring for the heartbroken.

SHE is not another association; it is a FORCE that is about to change our world. It is God’s strategy to make us a generational influence and a disarming role model to our sick world. The target is to culture the ‘seed’ right from the womb by right placing the womb carrier – the woman.

SHE is God’s last attempt to redirect the future yet using the woman. If the future (seed) must be right then the future (seed/child) must be made right. We’ve got the mandate to frame the woman so we can frame our future. We’ve been told that every hurt on a woman is a dot on the future.

In SHE, we build dreams (Dream Centre) and develop hope (Hope Centre) through our school of reformation, school of esteem and our foundation.

Are you ready to change your world!!!

Join us, let’s take the giant stride that will matter the most together; let’s make an indelible impact to secure the future by making the today’s young women more aware and capable of shouldering the responsibility of creating the right birthplace for the child of the future; let’s stretch our capacity to save Africa from prostitution, diseases, divorce, poverty, child labour/abuse through sound morality and character development.
